Our Story.

i am a bookworm is an independent children’s book packager and publisher. We specialise in the creation of original board books, novelty books, activity books and light books for children aged 0-5.

We founded the company in March 2011 and developed our first 7 titles to present at the 2011 edition of the Frankfurt Book Fair. We now have more than 600 titles in our catalogue which have been translated and sold into 35 different countries around the world.

Our Books. 

All our children’s books have been intelligently designed to promote learning through interaction and to nurture and encourage a child’s development. Our books feature tactile and engaging materials to promote hand to eye co-ordination, colourful and eye catching artwork to encourage imagination and creativity and text that helps develop a child’s reading and writing skills to give them the confidence at a young age to continue growing, learning and developing.

All of our titles feature learning icons on the back covers to quickly highlight at a glance how each book is designed to help with.

We have built a global network of fantastically skilled individuals and businesses that we are fortunate enough to collaborate with on a daily basis. It is a privilege to collaborate with Illustrators, Authors, Agents, Printers, Shippers, Laboratories, Designers and everyone in between to help bring each book to life and into the hands of a little readers.

Wherever possible i am a bookworm strives to use responsibly sourced, sustainable materials. All of our suppliers are FSC certified and source their materials responsibly. It’s important to us that our children’s children get to enjoy the wonderment of books and become bookworms too!
